What your report reveals
What does a PeptidesDNA report tell you?
Five answers you can't get from a Reddit thread. Every figure below is lifted from one real report.
The actual report
This is your genome, and where your peptide genes sit on it.
Not an illustration. Every report opens with your own chromosomes, drawn from the file you upload, with each scored gene pinned where it actually sits. Below it, 39 compounds ranked against what we found.
In this one, Cagrilintide ranks first at 73, matching 73% of its genetic case.

How we score
Each peptide gets a composite score (0–100), built in four steps:
Count what you carry
Every marker linked to a peptide is checked against your genotype, counting one copy or two.
Weight by evidence
Each marker carries a weight reflecting how strong the published research behind it is.
Rank against your top match
Your highest-scoring peptide sets the scale at 100. Scores are relative to your own profile.
Exclude what we can't read
Markers your file didn't cover are left out entirely, and listed for you by name.
Evidence tiers
Every recommendation carries a confidence label. We never hide how strong the science is.
Published pharmacogenomic trial data with peptide or drug-class evidence.
Known pathway biology applied to peptide pharmacology. Strong inference.
Hypothesis-grade based on pathway overlap. Use with appropriate caution.
Pharmacogene star alleles are called against CPIC and PharmGKB definitions. Peptide matching is built from published GWAS and peptide-pharmacology literature and graded by us, because no pharmacogenomic guideline covers peptides yet. Scoring is deterministic, so the numbers are reproducible rather than generated.

Explore by goal
Most people arrive with a problem, not a compound. Each of these opens on what is actually used for it, what the evidence looks like, and which genes have anything to say.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about genetic peptide testing
What is a genetic peptide test?
A genetic peptide test analyzes your DNA, specifically SNPs (genetic variants) in genes that control drug metabolism, receptor sensitivity, and biological pathways, to indicate which peptides relate to your genetic markers. PeptidesDNA tests up to 144 SNPs across 15 pathways and scores 39 peptides including BPC-157, GHK-Cu, Semaglutide, TB-500, and more.
Which peptides can be matched to DNA?
Our report covers 39 peptides across 6 categories: tissue repair (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu), growth hormone (CJC-1295, Ipamorelin), weight management (Semaglutide, AOD-9604), cognitive (Selank, Semax), gut health (KPV, GLP-2), and longevity (Epithalon, MOTS-c, Thymosin Alpha-1). Each peptide is scored 0-100 based on your genetic profile, with evidence tiering so you know how strong the evidence is.
Can I upload my 23andMe or AncestryDNA data?
Yes. If you already have raw genetic data from 23andMe (v4/v5), AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, or Nebula Genomics, you can upload it for $99 and get your peptide report within 24 hours. Your existing data typically covers 85-95% of the 144-marker panel. Don't have a DNA test yet? You can order one from a partner provider, then upload your raw data here.
How do CYP enzymes affect peptide response?
CYP enzymes are liver enzymes that process drugs and compounds. Your genetic variants in CYP2C19, CYP2C9, CYP2B6, and CYP3A5 determine your metabolizer status, how fast or slow you clear compounds from your body. As a general pharmacogenomics principle, poor metabolizers may need lower doses, while ultra-rapid metabolizers may need higher doses; discuss any dosing with a clinician. Our report profiles 8 pharmacogenes and includes this metabolizer information alongside each peptide.
What if I don't have a DNA test yet?
PeptidesDNA is upload-first: the $99 upload option uses your existing 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or MyHeritage data and you get results within 24 hours. If you don't have a DNA test yet, you can order one from a partner provider, then upload your raw data here for the same $99 report. Consumer DNA tests don't cover all 144 of the panel's markers (typically 85-95%), but they still score every peptide with evidence-tiered rankings.
Is my genetic data safe?
Yes. PeptidesDNA takes data security seriously. Your genetic data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by row-level security so only you can access your own data. We never sell your genetic information, and never share it with insurers, employers, advertisers, or data brokers. A small number of service providers (our hosting and payment processors) handle data only to run the service. You can delete your raw genetic file, report, and all associated data at any time from your dashboard. We respect your data rights under CCPA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.
How long does it take to get results?
If you upload existing DNA data ($99 option), your report is generated within 24 hours. If you don't have a DNA test yet, you'll first order one from a partner provider and complete their testing process before uploading your raw data. Once you upload, your report is still generated within 24 hours.
Do I need a doctor to use PeptidesDNA?
No prescription or doctor's order is needed to purchase a PeptidesDNA report. Our report is an informational genetic analysis, not medical advice. However, we strongly recommend sharing your results with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any peptide plan. Your report is designed to be practitioner-friendly, with evidence tiers and pharmacogene data that clinicians can use to inform their decisions.
